Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your account and data
Last updated · October 16, 2026
Google Play requires this page to explain, without needing the app installed, how to delete your FitBook account. In short: you can do it yourself from Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account, and it takes effect immediately.
1.Delete it from the app
You can delete your FitBook account yourself, at any time, with no need to contact us:
- Open Settings (in the user menu, top right).
- Scroll to the bottom, to the Danger zone.
- Tap “Delete my account”.
- Type the confirmation word you’re asked for and tap “Delete permanently”.
That’s it — no extra steps, and no need to wait for a reply from us.
2.What gets deleted and what we keep
Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes:
- Your workouts, sets and records.
- Your achievements and level.
- Your routines and custom exercises.
- Your photos (avatar and your custom exercises’ photos).
- Your Wall posts, comments and reactions, and your @nickname (freed up for someone else).
- Your link with your coach or your students, if you had one.
- Your logged meals and your conversations with Wallace.
- Your email, password and every detail of your login.
Two exceptions, and why:
- Feedback you sent us is kept, but anonymized (we remove your email and any link to you): it’s information about the product, not about you.
- Purchase records: FitBook does not charge for anything today, so this does not apply to any account. If purchases exist in the future, invoices or receipts we are legally required to keep for tax purposes would not be deleted with your account — they would be unlinked from your identity everywhere else.
3.Immediate, irreversible, and backups
Deletion is immediate: as soon as you confirm, your session ends and your data is no longer accessible from the app. It is also irreversible — we keep no trash bin and cannot restore a deleted account, even if you ask us to.
As with any service, we keep database backups for service-continuity reasons. Those backups are purged within a maximum of 30 days, after which no backup retains your information.
4.Alternative: ask by email
If you can’t sign in to the app, you can also request deletion by writing to us at soporte@fitbook.app with the subject “Delete my account” from the same email address you registered with (so we can verify it’s you).
We reply and act on the request within 72 hours.
