Terms & Conditions

The rules for using FitBook, in plain language

Last updated · October 16, 2026

Welcome to FitBook. These terms set out the rules for using the app. Read them carefully: by creating your account you accept them. Pay special attention to the medical disclaimer — FitBook and its AI coach provide general guidance, not medical advice.

1.Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account or using FitBook you accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.What FitBook is

FitBook is a fitness application that lets you log workouts (strength and cardio), create routines and exercises, track your progress, manage your daily nutrition (meals, calories and macros, with optional photo estimation), share content on an in-app wall, link up with a trainer and chat with an artificial intelligence coach (“Wallace”). We may offer both free features and paid features (Premium).

3.Eligibility and age

You must be at least 16 years old to use FitBook. By signing up you represent that you meet the required age and that the information you provide is truthful and up to date.

4.Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your credentials.

Notify us immediately at soporte@fitbook.app if you detect any unauthorized use of your account.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of third parties.
  • Attempt to breach security, access other users’ data or interfere with the operation of the app.
  • Extract data through automated means (scraping), overload the infrastructure or resell the service.
  • Enter offensive, illegal or rights-infringing content in free-text fields (routine names, notes or messages to the coach).

6.The content you create

The routines, custom exercises, notes and other content you create belong to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display that content to you for the sole purpose of operating the service for you.

You are responsible for the content you enter and represent that you have the right to use it.

7.The wall and the community

FitBook includes a wall where you can post workouts, records, routines or your meal day. You choose the visibility of every post (“Public” or “Only me”) and you can edit or delete it whenever you want. Anything you post publicly will be visible to other users alongside your name and @nickname.

By posting you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content within the service to whoever corresponds according to the visibility you chose. Do not post offensive or illegal content, content that infringes third-party rights, or other people’s personal data without their permission.

Any user can report a post. We may review, hide or remove reported content that breaches these Terms, and suspend repeat offenders.

8.Linking with a trainer

You can link up with a trainer by accepting their invitation. In doing so, you authorize them to see the data you specify when linking (for example your workouts and/or your nutrition) for the purpose of following your progress.

The trainer is an independent third party: FitBook neither provides nor endorses their professional services, and is not a party to the agreement between you. You can end the link at any time and their access stops immediately.

9.The AI coach (Wallace)

Wallace generates automated responses for general fitness guidance only. It may make mistakes or provide inaccurate information. It is not a substitute for the advice of a physician, nutritionist, certified trainer or other professional. Use its information with judgment and verify anything important with a professional.

10.Medical disclaimer and assumption of risk

The information in FitBook is provided for educational and informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury.

Consult a healthcare professional before starting any training or nutrition program, especially if you have medical conditions. By using the service, you voluntarily assume the risks of exercise. FitBook is not liable for injuries, health problems or damages arising from the use of the information or the routines.

About nutrition: the calories and macros shown in the app are estimates. Goals are calculated with standard population formulas, and values obtained from a photo or from text via AI may be inaccurate: always check the real nutrition information of what you eat. They are not a diet plan and do not replace a registered dietitian, and they are not intended to treat medical conditions or eating disorders.

11.Paid plans (Premium)

Some features may require a subscription or payment. When we offer purchases, we will show you the price, the renewal frequency and the cancellation terms before you pay. Payments, renewals and refunds are governed by those terms and by the policies of the applicable payment platform. Prices may change with prior notice.

12.Intellectual property

The FitBook brand, the design, the logo, the exercise catalog, the texts and the software are the property of FitBook or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without express authorization.

13.Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee that it will operate uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, endeavoring to notify you of significant changes.

14.Suspension and account closure

You may close your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Danger zone → “Delete my account” (more details in how to delete your account). We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service or pose a security risk, endeavoring to notify you where reasonable.

Upon account closure, the data retention provisions of the Privacy Policy apply.

15.Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitBook shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot be legally excluded (such as cases of willful misconduct or harm to health caused by our gross negligence).

16.Indemnification

You agree to hold FitBook harmless from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

17.Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you within the app or by email. If you continue using the service after the change takes effect, you are deemed to accept the updated terms.

18.Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago de Chile, without prejudice to any rights the law grants consumers in their country of residence.
