Visual guide

Cable Crunch — StartCable Crunch — End

Reference photo — start and end of the movement.

How to perform

  1. 1.Kneel facing the high pulley with the rope behind your neck.
  2. 2.Flex your torso down, contracting your abs.
  3. 3.The hips stay fixed — the movement is torso only.
  4. 4.Return under control.

Common mistakes

  • ●Moving the hips instead of the torso
  • ●Pulling with the arms
  • ●Not reaching a full contraction

Proper technique

The goal is to bring your sternum toward your pelvis. The hips are the fixed pivot of the movement.
