How to perform
- 1.Set the pulley low and grab the handle with one hand, facing away from or sideways to the cable.
- 2.Start with your arm by your thigh and elbow almost straight.
- 3.Raise to the front up to shoulder height.
- 4.Return under control, resisting the pull of the cable.
Common mistakes
- ●Twisting the torso to beat the resistance
- ●Bending the elbow too much
- ●Letting the cable yank the arm on the way down
- ●Raising past the shoulder
Proper technique
The low pulley gives continuous tension — use it by lowering slowly. Lock your elbow and keep a neutral wrist. Keep your hips and torso completely still.
