How to perform
- 1.Lie on your back with one knee bent and that foot planted.
- 2.Extend the other leg or bring it toward your chest.
- 3.Lift your hips by driving through the planted heel.
- 4.Rise until the hips are aligned, keeping the pelvis level.
- 5.Lower under control and repeat before switching legs.
Common mistakes
- ●Letting the hip drop on the free side
- ●Pushing with the lower back
- ●Using momentum from the raised leg
- ●Not matching reps per side
Proper technique
Keep the pelvis level without letting one side sag. The force comes from the glute of the working leg. Controlled movement in both phases.
